PSG vs Nice, 05/04/09

In last two rounds PSG suffered two heavy defeats to Toulouse (1-4) and Marseille (1-3). In this round they host Nice, and it looks like it will be another tough match for them. They are struggling with numbers at the back, and boss Le Guen will be without key defender Zoumana Camara, who was sent off in defeat to Marseille, while Sylvain Armand is out through injury and Mamadou Sakho is doubtful. PSG already were pretty shaky in their last two games, allowing 7 goals, so these selection problems could lead to another disaster.

Nice are not in greatest shape lately, and their indifferent form is result of their league position - far away from relegation fight, they sit safely in 8th position at the table, and look like dismotivated for the rest of the season. They won only twice in last 10 games and suffered 5 defeats.

Nice were some kind of bogey team for PSG in recent season and managed to beat them 6 times in last 10 meetings. Going into this match without any pressure, they are great price to add to PSG's woes. As already mentioned, Nice's recent form is far from encouraging, but they could get some special motivation playing against one of top sides in France this season, and with all those problems at PSG's defense, they could make surprise in this match.

Sampdoria vs Napoli, 05/04/09

After disappointing start of the season, Sampdoria players are really enjoying their football at the moment. They suffered only one defeat in last 6 rounds, to Bologna, but they really impressed with some great performances against top Italian sides like Milan, Roma and Juventus. Antonio Cassano is at the top of his game right now, and his influence on the team had huge impact on their decent results lately.

Napoli are point above Sampdoria at the moment, but their form of late was far from impressive. They are without win in 11 games, but thanks to decent start of the season they are not involved in relegation troubles yet. Their new coach Roberto Donadoni obviously made some improvements as he ended Napoli's losing streak, but while 0-0 against Milan was great result, 1-1 at rock bottom Reggina in previous round is surely nothing special.

Napoli are due to win soon, but following their great form of late, Sampdoria @2.00 looks like great price in this match.

Leeds vs Milton Keynes, 28/03/09

Leeds are on fantastic run at home lately, and they should use their momentum to record another home win. They were struggling away from home this season, but on the other hand they've made Elland Road real fortress where they can beat anyone. They have their key man Jermaine Beckford back after ban for this match, while skipper Frazer Richardson is expected to be back after injury. Leeds also signed Sam Sodje and Darryl Flahavan on loan, and both of them are available for this match.

Milton Keynes are struggling lately, and after 6-2 trashing of Oldham few weeks ago, they are in some sort of crisis - both performance and results were quite poor lately. They are without Stephen Gleeson, who is on international duty, while Luke Chadwik is out through injury.

Leeds @2.10 looks like great price, and although their home-games winning streak won't last forever, MK Dons are probably not the side capable of stopping them at the moment.

Swindon vs Hereford, 21/03/09

Swindon had really tough schedule lately. They played few top sides like Leeds and Milton Keynes, while games against Tranmere, Colchester and Southend weren't much easier jobs. They still managed to take few points from those games, and they played quite well in their last two games. First, they made Leeds work hard at Elland Road and lost that match 0-1 through late Beckford's header, while in their last home match they defeated Southend 3-0, although guests enjoyed more of possesion in this encounter.

Hereford are in real troubles now, and poor run of results have put them in difficult situation. They are now second from bottom, 8 points behind safety, and if they survive this season in League One they will make big surprise.

Hereford are one of the weakest travellers in league, and Swindon should make their home advantage count in this match. Swindon are also struggling near the relegation zone, but they are definitely better side than their current table position suggests, and they should be able to win this match.

Bornemouth vs Notts County, 21/03/09

Bornemouth are one of form sides in League Two at the moment. They lost only once in last 6 rounds, away at Gillingham which is surely not big deal, and with some positive signals on and off field, they are great value to beat Notts County this Saturday. They won their last match against Bradford quite easily 4-1, and good news is that hero from that match, striker Steve Fletcher who scored two and set up two goals, will be ready for this match.

Notts County are going in oposite direction. They had tough schedule though, but with only one win in last 6 rounds and with pretty poor record away from home, they will have troubles in this match at Bornemouth.

Notts County are quite inconsistent and unpredictable side, but value in this match is definitely on Bornemouth. Anything can happen in games involving Notts County, but this is must bet in my opinion.

QPR vs Swansea, 17/03/09

QPR probably finished their season already, but they are nice value to beat Swansea this Tuesday. R's are for 9 games without win, but they deserve credit for few results in this period. They managed to stay unbeaten against few top-table sides, including Reading, Cardiff, Sheffield United, while 0-0 at in-form Southampton was another decent result.

They have Heidar Helguson, Rowan Vine and Samuel Di Carmine back for this match, while Patrick Agyemang and Lee Cook are out.

Swansea are on better run lately, but their main problem this season was winning games. There are only few teams with less defeats than Swansea in this league, but huge number of draws (18 so far) kept them lower than they maybe deserved.

Swans welcome back skipper Gary Monk after ban, but are without Alan Tate, Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde.

I think it's time for R's to finally end their winless run, and I think they could just have the edge in this match.
